What is Omnilux Men?

Based on the world’s leading Omnilux MedicalTM light therapy technology, Omnilux Men is an FDA-cleared flexible, portable, affordable home use device that uses medical-grade light emitting diodes (LEDs) to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improve overall skin tone, firmness, and skin health.

How does it work?

Optimized energy output and three clinically proven wavelengths of light (red 633nm, near-infrared 830nm, and near-infrared 1072nm) work on a cellular level to stimulate new collagen production and create a strong anti-inflammatory response that heals and repairs men’s skin from within.

Red (633nm): Reduces inflammation and boosts blood oxygen levels in the skin to improve redness, pigmentation, and overall skin tone.
Near-infrared (830nm): Targets fibroblast cells to induce the production of new collagen and elastin for a firmer and more youthful-looking complexion.
Near-infrared (1072nm): Provides the deepest penetration into men’s thicker skin to stimulate the pathways that support the body’s own natural defense and repair mechanisms. Smooths overall texture and tone, and reduces wrinkles, under-eye bags and dark circles.

What makes the 1072nm wavelength different than the 830nm and 633nm wavelengths?

Near-infrared 1072nm has been shown to penetrate deeper into tissue and therefore produces a much deeper cellular response in the skin than 830nm and 633nm.

Why is the 1072nm wavelength ideal for men’s skin?

Men generally have ~25% thicker facial skin than women. Since the 1072nm penetrates deeper than 633nm and 830nm it is able to target the deepest cells.

Why is men’s skin thicker than women’s?

Men’s skin is typically thicker than women’s due to men having a higher percentage of the hormone testosterone.

Is it necessary to wash my face prior to using LED?

Omnilux Men is best used on a clean face. Please remove all skincare and aftershave before use. Some ingredients in these products may cause light sensitization or may reduce the effect of the treatment.

Should I use it before or after applying post-shave products?

Omnilux Men is best used on a clean face. Apply your post-shave products after your treatment.

Love my Omnilux Men mask …

I am 54 female using the Omnilux Men mask three times a week. Within 3-4 weeks, I noticed positive difference in my skin. It’s now softer, less dry and less wrinkly . I also adapt it for my neck and back of hands. The ‘crepey’ skin I was beginning to get in my neck area seems to be thickening and improving, which is a welcome bonus. I personally don’t like this mask being referred specifically for men ( though I understand the differences with skin thickness etc)… I think it would be better as a unisex item. As a woman, my skin still stands to benefit from deeper light therapy around the eyes ( as I read in a research reviews online).

This whole debacle began after I did 3 rounds of Morpheus 8, which didn’t do anything for my skin AND melted my facial fat pads (not the desired result).
